A few general thoughts:
  • No more Ability Re-rolls. Why? Pre-defined abilities, that's why. That's right, your class now has pre-defined abilities. You still get to upgrade those abilities as you level, but you don't get to tailor your abilities from the start. From what I have read some of the pre-defined abilities are, in the opinion of some players, are not the best. What you see in the image below are the pre-defined abilities for a Paladin.

  • Changes have been made to some of the Mount Insignia Bonuses. Some of those changes seem to be a little out-of-line.

  • Changes to the buff bar, some of them come from the fact that the number of buffs have been reduced. Not sure how this will translate to consoles, but if it looks anything like this, maybe we'll be able to actually see all that is buffing us.

  • Seal of the Brave is being replaced by Seal of the Crown

If you have unspent Power Points, they will be offering an Astral Diamond exchange on the launch of Mod16
